About Blossom Christian Church

Our Mission

Rooted in the love of Christ, we exist to glorify God by living life together in authentic community. We love one another as Jesus loves us, walking alongside one another in faith, and growing as disciples shaped by His truth and grace. We are committed to proclaiming the hope of the gospel, so that God’s transforming love is made known in our community and throughout the world. We hope you'll join us.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. (John 13:34-25 ESV)

Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another. (Proverbs 27:17 ESV)

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. (Matthew 28:19-20 ESV)

What We Believe

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God. We seek Biblical authority in all things.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17 ESV)

Salvation

We believe salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. It is a gift from God, not earned by good works, but evidenced by a transformed life of obedience to Christ.

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9 ESV)

So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. (James 2:17 ESV)

The Trinity

We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each fully God yet distinct in their roles within the Godhead.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. (2 Corinthians 13:14 ESV)

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and will return again.

And when Jesus was baptized, immediately he went up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on him; and behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.” (Matthew 3:16-17 ESV)

For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4 ESV)

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. (John 14:3 ESV)

The Church

We believe Jesus followers are called to fellowship together, meeting to love, encourage, serve, and instruct one another in the faith. We believe in a big God, not in having a big church; our focus must remain on Him and doing what glorifies Him rather than ourselves.

For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them. (Matthew 18:20 ESV)

not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. (Hebrews 10:25 ESV)

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. (Philippians 4:8 ESV)

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. (1 Corinthians 10:31 ESV)

Frequently Asked Questions

Please feel free to reach out by email or phone if you have any questions. We are still a new plant, so this section will grow as we pray over and formalize our doctrinal statements.

We do not have membership as you may see at more traditional churches. We are focused on being members of the universal church body and building a community here in Apache Junction.

In the future, we may ask prospective volunteers to have a discussion about their beliefs, but this would not be membership.

We have chosen not to maintain official social media accounts as a church. We believe in focusing our resources on personal, face-to-face relationships. Social media can also be a stumbling block for many, whether by addiction, temptation, or direct exposure to immoral content. Romans 14:13 instructs us to "Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother." (ESV).

We do not believe social media is inherently sinful, and we acknowledge evangelism and other good works can occur on such platforms. We ask that you examine your social media usage -- and perhaps even moreso that of your children -- to be sure it aligns with Biblical wisdom and Christlike love while also guarding your own heart from the ways of the world. Proverbs 4:23 reminds us to "Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life." (ESV).

We are not part of a denomination. While traditional denominations can help provide support to local congregations, we look directly to Biblical authority for guidance.

Yes! We are a new community of Jesus followers that first met in February 2026. While we do not have an official sending church, we have spent time in prayer and reached out for counsel from elders in the faith.

Our History

Blossom Christian Church was founded in 2025 by a couple who struggled to find a church home in the Phoenix valley. Through prayer, Andrew and his wife felt called to plant a new church in Apache Junction where we could focus on a big God instead of the distractions of "big church" where corporatocracy, programs, and events often take center stage.

Our Leadership

We are led by Andrew in the lay pastor role. While not a Phoenix native, he lives with his wife in the Phoenix valley.

Because we are a new plant that launched in 2026, we don't currently have a staff pastor, elders, or deacons. We will pray and seek God's will over time and are always ready to have discussions.
